On April 10, 2013 Chris Callisto our Railroad/Union Brother of UTU Local 1823 lost everythig in a house fire. The house is a total loss due to a lightening strike. His family is safe and ok but lost most of their possessions. Chris has three boys that lost their clothes and toys. I will put up at list at Dupo for anybody that would like to help Chris and his family out. There will be a box if you have some kids clothes or other things they can use. ( boys sizes 14, 6, 3t ) Also UTU Gen. Chairman and Dir. Labor Relations Allen Weed have worked it out that we can donate Personal Leave Days, Vacation Time, or Single Designated Vacation Days. I will get the forms out in the crew rooms. Chris told me anything we can do to help out is deeply appreciated by him and his family. I will follow up with more information as I get it.
